Winter Incentive Rate

The Board of Directors of Cordova Electric Cooperative, Inc. is considering a revision to the Tariff for a Winter Incentive Rate to become effective October 1st, 2024.

The rate would be in effect from 10/1/2024 – 3/31/2025, with the energy charge at $0.06/kWh for all consumption over the following kWh/month:

Rate Class	Eligibility Amount
Schedule 100 Residential	Over 1,000 kWh/month
Schedule 200 General Service	Over 2,000 kWh/month
Schedule 800 Large Power	Over the greater of 25,000 kWh/month or Winter Maximum Use
Schedule 810 Seafood Processors	Over Winter Maximum Use

Winter Maximum Use is the highest monthly kWh use during any billing month between October 2023 and March 2024.

There will be a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the Cordova Center Education Room (adjacent to the Library). The purpose of the Public Hearing is to record the statements and questions of the membership relating to the proposed change.
