Outage Center

Report an Outage

CEC has made many upgrades to our electrical system that allow us to see most of what is going on in real-time. We used to rely on customers to call us to report outages, but now we typically know immediately when there is an outage.

 

Information and updates about outages will be posted to our Facebook page. If you do not use Facebook, you can view the latest outage information on this page, which shows our Facebook feed.

 

If you experience an outage, wait a few minutes and see if we are aware of it. If CEC has acknowledged the outage, we don’t need you to contact us. We will do our best to keep our members updated on any outage developments and timeframes.

 

The outage phone line will continue to be available, and there are times when we want to hear from our customers. Please call the CEC outage line at 907-424-5500 if:
• You are experiencing an outage that you believe CEC is unaware of.
• You know anything related to an outage that may assist CEC in resolving it (e.g., loud noise, vehicle hit CEC equipment, etc.)
• There is anything else CEC needs to be aware of during an outage (e.g., medical needs, large events, etc.).

 

During an outage, please do not contact CEC employees on their personal phones as it makes it difficult for them restore power.
