Cordova Clean Choice Program

Save on your electric bill,  eliminate Cordova’s dependence on fossil fuels, and help Cordova become a Green Power Community!  Cordova businesses and residents can participate in a community based program that conserves electricity and backs locally produced zero-emission renewable energy. 100% of Cordova Electric Cooperative revenues from the program will be reinvested for energy projects such as a wind energy assessment, hydroelectric dam storage, electric vehicle deployment, a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Green Power community designation in cooperation with the City of Cordova, LED street lighting retrofit, and an agreement with the Native Village of Eyak to develop renewable energy projects of benefit to the community.  These projects reduce the use of diesel fuel and help CEC to lower your electric bill.

Here’s how it works. Log on to Sterling Planet and sign up for either 12, 24, or 36 blocks of green power annually at a cost of $ .01 per kWh, (based on 500 kwh) or $5.00 per block per month.

Join this exciting new program and help Cordova become an EPA Green Power Community while helping us provide clean, cost-effective renewable energy AND save on your electric bill!

Receive your choice of CFL bulbs or LED Christmas lights for signing up, while supplies last.
